my favorite beer of all time.  Seriously.  The first time I had this beer, which was maybe 3 years ago, I lost my shit!  How could something so awesome be so foreign to me?  I thought I had tried every breed of beer out there, but before that time, the idea of a barley wine was a mystery to me.  Then I met the Golden Dragon.  It's sweet, and super malty and the crispiest drink I know of.  We have been fast friends ever since that first meeting, and I totally suggest you grab a couple of these (but not too many, twice as much booze than your average swill, and the bottles aren't cheap either) and prepare to go nuts.  Don't say I didn't warn you.

Frankly speaking, barley wine is probably the best tasting beer I have had the pleasure of trying.
