Beer Talk for Beer Lovers

I write about what I'm drinking on occasion
What the Hell was I Drinking?
So it was moving time for my wife and I.  This meant my weekend was filled with heavy lifting, careful maneuvering and serious praying.  I am a clumsy fellow by nature, so if I can move my stuff from one place to the other without breaking a window, my computer or one of my awesome arms, then I count that move as a success.

Needless to say that by the end of everything I was completely and totally exhausted and ready for a beer.  The problem was that I didn't have any beer and at this time of night when we were all done packing, and the only options I had were a 24-hour gas station and a 24-hour Walmart.

So I got a Budweiser.  And dammit, I'm not scared to say it, that beer was good.

So there I am sitting with my wife discussing the website and how funny it was that I was drinking a Budweiser at the time when we sadly found ourselves belaboring through one of the oldest and most tired discussions amongst beer lovers - the plight of the American domestic beer.  Here's my opinion:

Beer is beer.  Light beer is not water, it is an affordable and enjoyable alternative to more serious beers and a tasty beverage from time to time.  Beer snobbery is not a pre-requisite for being a beer fan.  Leave that b.s. to the wine lovers.

And if you disagree, let's see you turn down a Budweiser after working your ass off all day long.

Cheers!

There is a time and a place for every kind of beer. I don't need anything more than a Budweiser at a baseball game on a hot summer day. In fact, I prefer it. And I should know! My head is a baseball.

Beer Masters on Facebook
Site Manager - Shannon The extent at which I like beer may border on the ridiculous, but I have always felt that the people who love beer for all the right reasons are the kind of people we need more of in this world.

I want to make beermasters.com a portal for beer enthusiasts and experts from around the world. This is a place to share experiences, favorite beer recipes and pubs and to learn all there is to learn about the art of making and enjoying beer. Think of this place as the best neighborhood pub ever...sure I can't pour you anything from a tap, but as soon as someone invents that star trek food making thing, we will all get hilarious together.

and it will be awesome.
