Beer Talk for Beer Lovers

Beer and Heartburn
Lately I've been struggling with some serious bouts of heartburn,  the kind where no amount of tums will bring about any immediate relief (a visit to the doctor is upcoming) and really its been pissing me off more so than its been a barrell of monkies...surprise surprise.

Anyways, things with my heartburn have become so lame that besides causing a searing pain in my chest, it turns out my heartburn has also decided to become a serious pain in my ass.

You see the bigger issue here for me isn't that I'm dealing with heart burn issues, its what is causing the heartburn issues:  beer.  Fucking beer!

The heartburn thing has been an ongoing issue for the last year or so, and over that time I've make a conscious effort to test out different types of food to see what would bother my stomach and what would go down nice and easy.  And no matter how many times I've tested this or how much I don't want this to be true, it turns out that one of the biggest catylists for my heartburn is beer.  Fortunately this isn't a "1 beer with dinner" issue, but more of the "3+ beers on a Friday night" kind of a problem, but really I can't stop thinking about what a pro athlete must feel after suffering a torn ACL.

Fucking beer :(

Man this depressing stuff.

No beers to review today.  I did have a (512) Wit by the (512) Brewing Company a few days ago.  It was a decent, respectable beer with a solid, common taste.  Nothing wow about it, but nothing terrible, either.  If you're a wheat beer fan then I'm sure you'll enjoy a lot of what (512) has to offer in their Wit.

Beer Masters on Facebook
Site Manager - Shannon The extent at which I like beer may border on the ridiculous, but I have always felt that the people who love beer for all the right reasons are the kind of people we need more of in this world.

I want to make beermasters.com a portal for beer enthusiasts and experts from around the world. This is a place to share experiences, favorite beer recipes and pubs and to learn all there is to learn about the art of making and enjoying beer. Think of this place as the best neighborhood pub ever...sure I can't pour you anything from a tap, but as soon as someone invents that star trek food making thing, we will all get hilarious together.

and it will be awesome.
